There is a ship-based system for comprehensive treatment of all wastewater (except oil-containing) to the standards permitted by regulatory authorities for direct discharge into the water.
All electrical consumers are supplied from their own powerplant. The operation of the air conditioning and heating system is provided by the ship's boiler installation.
