Purpose: 
high-precision areal surveying of the bottom configuration and survey of navigational hazards; 
installation/removal and maintenance of all types of floating aids to navigation (Aids to Navigation); 
delivery of personnel, supplies and spare parts to coastal aids to navigational equipment; 
navigation and hydrographic support for rescue and search operations; 
placement and delivery of pilots, as well as pilotage using the leading method; 
transportation of goods with loading and unloading by port facilities and/or ship crane; 
operations to eliminate emergency oil and oil product spills; 
performing towing operations (design option - installation of a stern anchor-mooring-towing winch); 
acceptance of waste (household waste) from ships into containers installed on the main deck; 
reception of waste water from ships (design option).

The crew will be accommodated in 7 single and 3 double cabins, and special personnel in 2 double cabins. 
An electro-hydraulic cargo crane with a carrying capacity of 8 tons, with a boom of 10 m, is installed on the deck for loading and unloading operations and working with navigation signs. 
The open part of the deck along its entire length is used to place situational signs, containers for garbage collection and other deck cargo.
