Additional data:
• As a powerhelm unit, two full-turn rudder propellers of the HRP 5111 WM type with open fixed-pitch propellers were used;
• The thruster with a power of 90 kW provides a thrust of ca. 18 kN;
• The main engines (ME) are two Mitsubishi diesel engines of the S12A2-MPTK type with a power of 701 kW each with a rotation speed of 1940 rpm. The ship power plant consists of two auxiliary diesel generators (DG) with a capacity of 150 kW each and a parking diesel generator with a capacity of 60 kW;
• One type of fuel (MDO) is provided for the ME and DG and the hot water boiler KIV-200-3,5;
• The vessel is equipped with a powerful ballast system (2x630 m3/h and 2x400 m3/h), which provides reception of 3470 tons of ballast (to reduce the empty ship's air draught to 5,5 m) in less than 2 hours;
• The lifting and lowering construction of the wheelhouse (lifting height 3,0 m) ensures the passage of the vessel under the bridges across the Neva River without their drawn, which dramatically reduces the round-trip time.
Advantages of the new generation motor ship “Nevsky” in comparison with the vessels of the R32 and R32BU projects:
• The carrying capacity is 80% higher than the carrying capacity of the vessels of project R32 and 55% - of project R32BU (in terms of carrying capacity, two vessels of project 2810 replace three vessels of project R32BU);
• Specific metal consumption (per 1 ton of carrying capacity) is reduced by 17-26%;
• Specific fuel consumption per unit of transport work reduced by 17-22%;
• Due to the use of rudder propeller, other modern and reliable equipment, the standard of navigation safety has been increased;
• Based on project 2810, developed by the order of OAO Lenrechport, tanker projects can be developed for transporting fuel oil from ports on inland waterways to the place of reloading into sea tankers in the Gulf of Finland, dry-cargo ships of mixed navigation, etc.
